Lindy

Lindy beat the odds after several circumstances put her life in danger. When the Refuge received a call about a truck crash involving a semi that was carrying chickens to a local slaughterhouse, our team headed to the location and found three live birds who had been left behind. They each had severe wounds including large gashes, bruises and broken bones. We took them for immediate veterinary care and they made a full recovery in our onsite clinic. Lindy and her friends now live happily at our sanctuary where they enjoy plenty of space to roam.
