Hope

Hope's name is very fitting considering her background. She was originally found along a highway after falling from a truck bound for the slaughterhouse. Her condition was extremely severe - she was unable to lift her head or open her eyes, having sustained serious head trauma. After emergency vet care, our team tended to Hope by providing medicine, tube feeding, and fluids, since she could not eat or drink independently. Slowly Hope began to regain her motor functions and she is now an independent lady with a lot of personality! Even though she has some scars from her accident, she is able to live a fulfilling life in the safety of our Refuge.
