It all started with a little rooster named Robby. Purchased as a backyard chicken, Robby faced a bleak fate because he couldn’t lay eggs. But his story took a turn when a compassionate community member saved him, and he came to Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge as our very first resident. Reflecting on over a decade of advocacy, we established Robby's Legacy Circle to ensure our life-saving work continues for generations. At the Refuge, we provide protection to vulnerable animals, challenging societal norms and rewriting the narrative of worth. Together, we forge a path of empathy, sharing their remarkable stories and making a profound impact on countless lives.

Supporting the Refuge through a legacy gift is a fantastic way to donate and may allow you to contribute in a much larger way that you originally thought you could.
