Our organization does not take in dogs as our mission is to rescue farmed animals. Additionally dogs may pose a danger to some of the smaller animals that we care for. We also have some goats who survived previous dog attacks, and are extremely frightened to be around dogs. Our organization does not take in cats as our mission is to rescue farmed animals. Additionally our sanctuary is located on a very busy highway, so we are unable to safely take in barn cats or feral cats. Please contact a cat rescue or email us for additional resources: info@piedmontrefuge.org
