Lillie

Lillie the goat was originally purchased to be a pet and she spent most of her life living with two goat companions. After one of them died of natural causes, Lillie’s sister was brutally killed by dogs. Lillie witnessed her sister being killed and was so traumatized by this that she refused to eat and would shake constantly. Alone and scared, Lillie was relinquished to the Refuge by her caregiver in hopes that a change of scenery and new goat friends would help Lillie recover. Since arriving at the Refuge Lillie has calmed down, began to eat and started making friends with goat residents Ethan and Todd. We are so happy to provide Lillie with a safe home to live out the rest of her days.
