Caleb

Caleb was rescued from a backyard butchery in New York’s Hudson Valley, where he was starving along with around 200 other farm animals. When Caleb was removed from the butchery by law enforcement he had severe pneumonia and needed immediate attention. After recovering, Caleb and six of his goat friends moved together, as a unit, to their new home here at Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge. Arriving at the Refuge as a youngster, Caleb has grown into a confident and playful goat who loves attention from visitors.
