Join us on Saturday, September 30th, from 12 pm to 2 pm for the screening of the film “Outside of Us” and an exhibition of the wearable paintings featured in the film, created by Artist in Residence Sarah Fox. In collaboration with many talented artists and animal advocates, “Outside of Us” is a fusion of dance, music, and painting inspired by the resilience and interpersonal relationships of the animal residents at the Refuge.
In conjunction with the exhibition and screening, there will be a tour of the Refuge to meet the animal residents who inspired the project!
“Outside of Us” consists of the dance work of Grace Cuny, the music of sound artist Chase Monty (also known as RAN), the videography of Sa-Rai Robinette, and the paintings and direction of Sarah Fox.
RSVP is required, and there is a suggested $15 donation that will be collected at the door. All are welcome for this unique event!
