Ferdinand narrowly avoided poisoning as an unauthorized apartment pet. Thanks to a neighbor's intervention, he found refuge at our sanctuary, where he now relishes swimming and preening with companions.

Patrick was dumped with domesticated ducks and survived thanks to a Refuge supporter. Named for his arrival on St. Patrick's Day, Patrick has adjusted well to his new home.
