Marigold

Young wooly lamb who is shown laying next to fresh straw and a red gate, has all black face and ears except for a white stripe running from the poof of white wool on the top of her head to the tip of her nose.

Marigold came to us with her mother, Camellia, after being used as a “lawnmower” at a convenience store in rural North Carolina. The little family was being kept in a small, rocky pen with no shade and very little to eat next to the store. After a concerned citizen reached out to PETA regarding the conditions in which the sheep were being kept, the organization was able to convince the store owner to relinquish both Marigold and her mother. We are grateful to be able to give them both a chance to live out the rest of their lives together in peace, surrounded by love.
