Jonathan was picked up as a stray in Harnett County, North Carolina and was taken to the local shelter. Another rescue group pulled him from the shelter before he made his way to his permanent home at The Refuge. Jonathan is a middle-aged goat who had many health problems when he was first rescued. He sports a fantastic beard and one twisted horn, due to a botched de-horning procedure from his previous location. He is now happily living as the gentle leader of our pygmy goat herd and loves to receive attention from visitors.
