Ace

Ace came to the Refuge with his mom, Sweet Mama, and sister Ivy. His mom was a dairy goat for seven years. After her milk production waned, she was taken to a stockyard to be auctioned for meat. Amazingly, Sweet Mama managed to escape and wandered onto a large cattle farm nearby, where she gave birth to Ace and his sister. A kind woman cared for the new family until they were all able to come to the Refuge in mid-September 2015. Ace is trouble with a capital T! He is rambunctious and loves to cause mischief. His antics have brought laughter to visitors and caregivers alike. Ace will never know the type of suffering his mom endured. He will be loved and cared for at the Refuge for the rest of his life.
