Hercules was rescued from a backyard butchery in New York’s Hudson Valley, where she was starving along with around 200 other farm animals. Law enforcement and local sanctuaries worked together to remove the animals and get them to safety. Hercules and six of her goat friends moved together, as a unit, to their new home here at Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge. Hercules was named by one of our very young supporters. She is an active goat who is always on the lookout for treats!
