The cuisine of the American Southwest is one of the world’s most distinctive, formed by the blending of ancient Native cultures and multiple European traditions. Earthy and vibrant, it overflows with chiles, chocolate, and improvisation.
In this workshop, we’ll explore techniques such as roasting fresh and dried chiles, making tamales, building sauces, and choosing the finest ingredients.

Join us on Saturday August 25th from 10am – 1pm at Pacifica Common House in Carrboro, NC. Space is limited. Participants will enjoy a full meal at the conclusion of the class. All proceeds benefit the animals of Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge.
