Charleston was found in Greensboro, North Carolina in the middle of a country road. He had suffered a broken back and could not walk. Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge was called and we rushed him to our emergency vet. Despite his major injuries, Charleston made a remarkable recovery and can now walk normally. During his recovery period, he lived with Refuge founder Lenore Braford and became fond of being held and snuggled. To this day Charleston charms volunteers and visitors with his friendly personality and love of attention.
